Capital Smart City Islamabad has obtained the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA), making it a legally authorized housing project in the area.

 However, the initial NOC issued to the society is under revision as additional land has been acquired, and the housing society is awaiting the NOC for the revised plan, which includes the extended blocks in the society.

During the launch ceremony of Capital Smart City on May 2, 2019, the Executive Block was introduced by the company. It was presented as a new block with distinct features, and attendees were given an opportunity to shift their plots from the General Block to the Executive Block for a limited time. However, this conversion offer had a deadline of May 24, 2019, after which clients would need to pay an additional 30% amount for conversion or booking a new plot in the Executive Block.

 The cost of plots in the Executive Block is 30% higher than the General Block, and those who miss the conversion deadline will also have to pay an additional fee.

General Block:

Capital Smart City’s development initially started with the General Block, which has now been expanded into additional blocks. The community offers various sizes of residential and commercial plots ranging from 5 Marla to 1 and 2 Kanal plots in different blocks.

The General Block is located after the Overseas Block of the society, situated to the right of the Capital Smart City Main Boulevard.

Harmony Park Block:

In April 2020, the Harmony Park Block was launched with the aim of providing affordable housing solutions for low-income families. It comprises of 3.5 Marla residential plots and is based on low-cost houses.

First Balloting Capital Smart City

According to recent updates, Capital Smart City has decided to postpone its first balloting event for a month due to the political unrest situation in the capital region. Initially, this balloting was scheduled for the 3rd last week of November 2019.

However, the management of Capital Smart City has postponed it to another month for the convenience of the investors and clients eligible for the executive and overseas block of the society.

Moreover, the society has released a map for the selection of plots, which is only available to those investors who have already booked their plots at half or full payment. The eligible members were given the opportunity to choose their desired plot numbers until December 5th, 2019.

After this date, the selection option was not provided to them. The members were allowed to visit the head office of Capital Smart City and finalize their plot selection.

Ballot Details:

Following the completion of the plot selection process, the remaining eligible files will be included in the first ballot.
